Why I Needed You

'Why I Needed You', released on March 14, 2025, is the next song installment on the forthcoming (and as yet unnamed) 2nd album. It's sung from the point of view of a cad, a monkey-gripper (and not biographical!). It was meant to be released on Valentines Day - which should explain the cover - however - this is not as romantic a song as the pic of a dude in a tux holding a bouquet would suggest... Guest musician on 'Why I Needed You' is Joel Turrisi, ex-drummer of The Know and 20/20. If it sounds analog it might be because many of the song's tracks were recorded to 1/2" tape - in fact we recorded the drums live in one take with a Tascam cassette PortaStudio.
